Born in Sendai, Japan in 1982.He won first prize and the Education Minister’s Encouragement Prize at the All Tohoku Piano Competition (1998). He entered Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in 2001, and won 3rd prize at The Music Competition of Japan in the same year.He was given a lesson by VladimirASHKENAZYat the 7th Miyazaki International Music Festival(2002) and won the audience prize at the 2nd Sendai International Music Competition(2004).Graduating from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music with top honors in 2005, he received the Ataka Award, the Acanthus Award, and Doseikai Award. TSUDA then proceeded to pursue his master’s degree program at the graduate school of Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music.He won 1st prize, the audience prize and the French Ambassador to Japan Prize at the Sendai International Music Competition (2007). Currently he is continuing his strenuous efforts in studying piano under Prof. Pascal DEVOYON at Berlin University of the Arts.

Tsuda organized his own piano trio called "Accord" together with violinist SHIRAI Kei and cellist KADOWAKI Hiroki in his junior year at the university, and was active in performing in Tokyo, Sapporo and other places across Japan. The orchestras he has performed with include Deutsches Kammerorchester, Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, and Geidai Philharmonia.

His piano teachers include Pascal DEVOYON, Gabriel TACCHINO, GOLDBERG YAMANE Miyoko,KAKUNO Yu, and SHIBUYA Ruriko.He studied chamber music under GOLDBERG YAMANE Miyoko, TANAKA Chikashi, KONO Fumiaki, and YAMAZAKI Nobuko.
